Between Green and Blue

groove

While the earth moves
She holds a heart
With a smile against the sun
And the sailor
On his wooden ship
Lost his course for what she‘s done

An‘ the red one beatin‘ hopefully
Falls down to the sea
Down to its dark and soundless ground
The lady she shivers
For the first time she feels
Her words must have hit him like a storm on the sea

      There is somethin‘
      I‘ve been always lookin‘ for
      Imagine somethin‘
      Between green and blue

An‘ the lady she lives
In a tower by the sea
Every day she‘s waiting for her ship to come
On the sixth day of may
Through a moonless night
With the turning of the tide the ship runs ashore

And the lady she hurries
She runs to the shore
But the boat is deserted
And with the seagulls she screams
Through many a dream
She finds it‘s all true
But she still hopes he‘ll come back out of the blue

      There is somethin‘
      I‘ve been always lookin‘ for
      Imagine somethin‘
      Between green and blue
